Why do I feel dizzy when I stand up?

Shoulder and upper arm pain?

I have been suffering severe upper arm pain since Feb. of this year and it just gets worse! I have been to the ER and the doctor. My x-rays are clean. I would like to know if anyone out there has had this problem. The pain started in my upper arm right below the shoulder it radiates into the shoulder and into my collar bone. I cannot move it up or down or in or out. As long as my arm is close to my body and bent at the elbow its seems ok, but just sitting here typing on my laptop my arm feels like its coming out of the socket! What is causing my wrist pain?

For about the past week my wrist has been hurting to bend forward or backward. At first it was just forward but now it's backward too. Putting pressure on it makes it hurt even more. It's not intense pain but it feels like it really needs to crack but I've cracked it many times (even tho it's painful to roll around too) and the pain doesn't go away. Do you think it could be injured? I'm wearing a supportive splint right now (one of those black ones with the velcrow) to keep me from moving it in those painful directions. Should I continue to wear it and will that make it stop hurting? I haven't taken any falls on it recently. Would it be dumb of me to go to the doctor for this since it's not incredibly bad pain?

So I had created 3 profiles on my old xbox before it broke and I got a new one under the warranty. I would like to make a new profile and get rid of my old one. but when I done so on the new console I was given no live membership. It generated a random name for me instead of letting me choose and now it's giving me the option to change my name. Macbook air screen flickering?

Everyone being different all I can do is give pointers. Your workout looks good. I went for being ripped and cut and found that keeping the weight lower than I can max worked better for me. I'm 6ft around 175 and less than 5% body fat. For cardio I went more for individual sports like cycling, handball, tennis... Seemed to get better results. Leaner muscle mass proved to be good as I got older, lower weights and more reps is easier to maintain after injuries. Looks like you got a good plan. Go with more dumbells and you'll see a more symetrical build.

this weekend (saturday) i was playing softball and my legs were straight up and a girl slid right into my knee with her foot still in the air and i heard it pop, and i dropped to the ground . it started to swell and it hurt to straighten or bend it . now i can straighten it way better than bend it and there is still a lot of pain and if i move to the side it feels like its gona give out . and it hurts on the left side of my right knee .. it is still swollen a little. does anyone know if this is an acl tear?

Condenser wont kick on?

Ok bear with me while I try to explain this. I put in a new thermostat a few months back, everything worked fine, or so i thought. Now that the hot weather is here I noticed the Fan wont kick on, We checked the condenser outside, that was working fine. Decided to put the old thermostat back on to see if that worked, well now the fan works but the condenser wont kick on. Im sure this is a wiring issue, but this is where it gets screwy. When i took the old one off a few months back 2 wires were twisted together, when putting the new therm on i untwisted those wires and put them in their rightful place as marked on the therm(obviously i screwed up somewhere) now when putting the old one back on, I cannot remember which 2 wires were twisted together but I am pretty sure this is whats causing the issue. Anyone able to help out it would be greatly appreciated. I am a female that has no idea what shes doing, but its hot and with 3 kids i need to figure this out, i could just wait til the hubby gets home but i dont want to sweat all day. THANKS!

The tendons are tightening up after you exercise to cause those pains. It pulls the kneecap up on and into the knee to make it hard and painful to do the steps. The tendons can be freed up but are difficult to do so you should find one that works with them to help you out. The medical field doesn't get into them at all so they won't be of any help.

Going to a chiropractor for shoulder weakness? Is she a quack or legit?

i tend to think that all chiropractors are quacks. I went to 2 within the past year and feel like i wasted tons of money. i should have just gone to an orthopedic doc in the first place and i could have saved myself a lot of time and money. the first chiropractor i went to took x rays and told me that the reason i was having lower back pain was because my spine needed aligned. so i continued to go and there was no change. in fact it got worse. i then went to a different chiro and that helped some but was not getting the results i wanted. when i went to the orthopedic dr they took x rays and an MRI. it sounds to me like you need an MRI so they know exactly what is going on with your muscles. it hink chiropractors can harm your injury even more. you cannot diagnose something just by looking at it. anyway, i found out that i have extreme spinal stenosis... and i would have never of found that out if i continued going to the chiro. an orthopedic dr will be able to tell you exactly what is wrong instead of telling you what they THINK may be wrong. and something like physical therapy may be better for you that being re aligned and so forth. hope i helped =) good luck

Does an injury affect your performance when youre done healing ?

I rencently tore my ACL in soccer, I tore it January 29th and had surgery March 11th. I'm going to a really good physical therapist that incorporates activities like passing the ball and headers and footwork and running and stuff into therapy so i'm not completely away from soccer and i will be doing things that have to do with soccer instead of spending six months not doing anything. I'm just really worried that when I get back to soccer I won't be as good as I once was. Has anyone had to deal with this injury? How did you cope? What did you do to get your muscle atrophy and your extension and bending of your knee back . ? btw i'm fourteen and going to be a freshy in high school if that matters ? ha . thanks (:

I fell down the stairs 4 days ago and sort of rolled over my ankle. I spent that day and the day after icing it on and off for 10 minutes each and bandaged it. I performed on it the second night but had it strapped very tight so it didn't hurt. I can walk, flex, bend, point and everything without any pain although sometimes if i have been sitting/lying down for a while it tends to hurt when I get up and it's quite bruised and swollen.... what do you think it wrong with it? and how long until I can dance again?!!

My mom is going through my stuff?

So my mom is divorcing my dad, and times have been very tough with trust. But today and yesterday i went to see my dad who is disabled, and has to live with his 80 year old mother. And when i came home today my mom locked everyone out of the house, and was vacuuming so she couldn't hear us. So i finally got in the back, and when i finally went up stars to sort out my room, the way i like it. I noticed that she went through my dresser. Now i can see cleaning **** off my floor, but not going into my PERSONAL dresser and belongings. Well, my brother got mad at me for calling him stupid so he took my computers tower and tossed it down 3 story stair well at my apartment. But when i plugged it worked. I am on my machine doing my thing, and there are like 10 machines in front of me of the same thing for example bicycles, treadmills, elliptical machine are all lined up of about 10 in a row. I may have been molested as a child by my brother. Should I tell family members?

Recently my incredibly weird half brother has been imprisoned (again) and my Father seems to bend over backwards to help him get on his feet. This is hard for me to watch because of the following: In my adult life I have always recalled moments of inappropriate times with my brother. I hardly remember how old these memories are however I know I was no older than 7. Im almost 18 years old and 2 weeks ago as i was picking something up (a pencil nothing heavy) my lower back began to hurt. it kept hurting for about 2 hours but then the pain stopped. i thought it was something that happened and that its gone. however, for the past 2 weeks the pain comes and goes escpciially when i bend down. it has not effected the way i walk, or sleep, and i can still excersise(i mainly run, and swim, and i dont always stretch so can that be the problem?). so is it anything serious, should i check a doctor, what could possibly be wrong?

Why does it hurt to bend my knee after acl surgery?

Its been over a week and I try to bend my knee since my therapist said once I got that down I'm golden. But sometimes theres like a lock that I can't get past. It hurts really bad and sometimes I just can't get past it but when I do I can bend my knee to nearly 100 degrees which is great. Is this normal? Should this "lock" be happening? My rat drags her back legs?

My rat is 2 years and 8 months old, so she's quite old, however she's still quite perky and eats and drinks well. I have recently noticed that she drags her legs, she doesn't do it all the time and she can still move and bend her legs. As she is getting older, she is sleeping a lot more. I just wondered if the weakness in her back legs could be caused by her age ?? Any answers would be useful. Thank you.

Interstate custody issue...?

okay so back in april i enlisted in the army reserves and had been caring for our daughter since my husband and i split back in june 09.. he took summers with me having school years (verbal agreement) .. may 2010 in nj court court granted him that summer and this one exception of the school year so i could fulfill milit. obligations. i went down to arkansas where the father has been residing since our split in 09 and 48 hrs until me and our lil girl were to fly back home to jersey (where she's been residing for the past 3 to 4 years school, extensive family on my side) he hit me with an emerg. custody order from arkansas! The courts here in nj are telling me they don't have jurisdiction since she's been there more than 6 months... that was the whole reason of going to court back in may 2010 before he took her for the summer, and i was granted primary residential custody having joint custody between us. He is angry because i didnt want to stay in Lil Rock and also filed for divorce even tho we've been seperated for over 2 years already! Is it possible for the transcripts from our court hearing to be legally binding in the Arkansas jurisdiciton? Besides that, he's got extensive mental instability, substance abuse which i found out he's been in outpatient rehab on suboxone for the last year while having our child, and the living conditions he has her in are not up to my standards.. he shares a bed with her (she's 6) because she said she wanted to!! He also told his court he's unemployed but works at a place called Cupid's and at times when he can't find a sitter, he brings our minor child into the store and she hangs out in the back on the computer...still very much subjected to the obsenities throughout the store. I feel my court is doin me dirty and i can get all sorts of proof as far as terrible things he'd done prior to our split and him moving back in 09 .. arrests, crisis center stays and substance abuse then and restraining orders for fear of our lives. I just wanna know what do i have to do to get my lil girl back to her rightful home? Hes gotten a lawyer involved on his side. Iv been the main caretaker and constant in our daughters life since birth and he's using her as leverage so it seems to me.

You need to change your brakes when brakes get to a certain wear point they have a little piece of metal and it scrapes against you rotor and makes a scratching or squeaking sound if you drive on them for too long you will need to buy new rotors for your car too and they aren't that cheap so get em replaced good luck

Tips on traveling with a 1 month old?

I traveled from Philadelphia to Atlanta by car with my son when he was just two months old. I don't know the required documents, but I think you will need a passport or passport card. I do also know that traveling with a newborn is as easy as you make it. You really don't have to worry about entertaining a baby that young, but just be ready to stop and feed the baby on demand or better yet take turns sitting in the the backseat with the baby, so that you can feed him/her on demand. If it is bent enough to where you can visually tell it is bent, a camber kit is not going to put it back into specs. Without replacing the arm, the only other way is to try to bend it back in position and then check the alignment readings and then repeat if needed.

Hey, so about 2 weeks ago I fell on my wrist playing basketball and the next morning it hurt a lot due to some swelling. Then the day after the pain went down a bit. I kept icing it and putting Bengay on it. Then the next few days after my wrist started getting a lot better and I could play basketball but still with some pain. Now my wrist is almost fully healed and I can put some pressure on it, but still hurts a little when I bend it a certain way. What I'm worried about is did my wrist get fractured and the bones heal the wrong way? I mean is it even possible for the bones to heal that fast. Maybe I'm just really paranoid. I punched a wall two days ago. (i know its stupid) and now my one knuckle is really swollen. I cant seem to bend my finger or make a fist. When I touch it, it feels squishy. is it normal to have paranoia due to testosterone? i don't know how you get testosterone, all i know is how you get rid of excessive amounts. and believe me, i have tried taking care of that through... you know. i am 17 and it has been bugging me for months now. i now sleep with my KA-BAR combat knife next to my bed, my six shot double action .22 revolver behind my pillow and mattress (on safe) with 5 rounds, my derringer within reach (on safe), and my gravity knife in my pants by my bed. i have been feeling like someone wants to kill me and like the government might be violating my privacy. i tried putting my home defense weapons in my gun locker but i just cannot sleep without them in their rightful place loaded and on safe. please don't tell me that owning a firearm is a bad idea at my age, i have never hurt anybody with any sort of weapon but i would if i absolutely had to and there was no other option. i would much rather fire a warning shot to scare off the attacker. i am not one with ill intentions but i feel like i need to protect myself and/or my family's life, whether it be with a weapon or not. i don't know if this is caused by testosterone or not. i live out in the country where i belong, the city makes my paranoia 5 times what it normally is. i do not use drugs of any kind besides Benadryl for my allergies. please help.
