How can i get better at drawing?

Please I am desperate! Im really good at drawing but theres this kid in my grade who one the doodle for Google thing and hes AMAZING at drawing and painting. its unbelievable!!!!!! like his painting look like their made by a professional no joke!!! there was an assignment and we got a list of flowers, and they were like balloon flower and winecup and stuff, but we're suppose to draw what comes to mind. And everyone thought mine was great i drew the wine cup, but OFCOURSE here he comes and PAINTS the wine cup 285703894705803485 million times better!!!! i practice and practice and PRACTICE since i've met him which was in kinderarden! and I CANT BEAT HIM! he had his own ASSEMBLY because hes so awesome! I want my rightful place as the best drawer in the school! He's had it since kindergarden and now were in 8th grade. Please help me. tell me how to beat this son of a ***** :)
