When was the last time American Idol had a good season, concluding with a rightful winner?

You just witnessed that Season. Scotty was the rightful winner. He won and so deserved it. If Lauren had of won it would have been the same. As far as the rest of the talent this year ... they were awesome. Our judges this year did a fantastic job finding the talent for this years' show. I have nothing but good things to say. I am really thrilled that Scotty won. He won more than American Idol ... he won the Heart of America!!
