Is paranoia caused by testosterone?
is it normal to have paranoia due to testosterone? i don't know how you get testosterone, all i know is how you get rid of excessive amounts. and believe me, i have tried taking care of that through... you know. i am 17 and it has been bugging me for months now. i now sleep with my KA-BAR combat knife next to my bed, my six shot double action .22 revolver behind my pillow and mattress (on safe) with 5 rounds, my derringer within reach (on safe), and my gravity knife in my pants by my bed. i have been feeling like someone wants to kill me and like the government might be violating my privacy. i tried putting my home defense weapons in my gun locker but i just cannot sleep without them in their rightful place loaded and on safe. please don't tell me that owning a firearm is a bad idea at my age, i have never hurt anybody with any sort of weapon but i would if i absolutely had to and there was no other option. i would much rather fire a warning shot to scare off the attacker. i am not one with ill intentions but i feel like i need to protect myself and/or my family's life, whether it be with a weapon or not. i don't know if this is caused by testosterone or not. i live out in the country where i belong, the city makes my paranoia 5 times what it normally is. i do not use drugs of any kind besides Benadryl for my allergies. please help.
